CV
Gemma Jones (b. 1995) is a performance artist based in Scotland whose practice explores the limitations and expressive possibilities of the body in a bid to rethink how time, space, and language are felt, visualised, and performed.

They work across a range of contexts including site-specific performance, visual art and contemporary performance creating work developed from research regarding time, chronic illness, Hydrofeminism, materiality, and care. As a performer, Jones includes their audience by hosting an inclusive and nurturing space. Seeking out hospitable forms of material and language, they create room for reflection, uncertainty, and the present moment.

They have recently expanded into a multilayered practice using drawing, sound, writing and facilitation which prose exciting mediums for the artist to perform new languages of the disabled non binary body.
